Michael Chiarello

Celebrity Chef Speaker Michael Chiarello is known for his restaurant, Tra Vigne in Napa Valley and as host of Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello on The Food Network. Michael is the designer of NapaStyle specialty foods, handcrafted kitchen products and home and garden. He is recognized as the founding father of the flavored olive oil, and created the Consorzio product line and has a family winery in Yountville, California. Michael’s first restaurant was called Toby’s in Miami, Florida. Until 2000, Michael was owner of seven different restaurants but decided to leave them in order to concentrate on his television career, the family wine business and to create NapaStyle. In 2008, Chef Michael opened the Bogetta Napa Valley restaurant which quickly became critically acclaimed.

In 2009, Michael was on the Bravo’s hit TV series Top Chef Masters where he and twenty-three other celebrated chefs competed for $100,000 for their charity of choice. Michael’s other TV hit was Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello which he co-produces, writes and hosts. The Food Network show won three daytime Emmy Awards, which is more than any other Food Network Show. Michael also hosts Napa Style on the Fine Living Channel, and Michael Chiarello’s Napa which airs on PBS. Michael Chiarello is the author of four books and has been named Chef of the Year by Food and Wine magazine in 1985 and the Culinary Institute of America in 1995, where Michael graduated.

He also teamed up with Boulud, Dean Fearing, Masaharu Morimoto, Christopher Kostow and Michael Symon at the Lexus Culinary Masters team at Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival in Monterey, California. Michael can be hired for endorsements, event planning and cooking demonstrations.
