Giada De Laurentiis

Celebrity Chef Speaker and self-proclaimed ‘Chocoholic’ Giada De Laurentiis originally had aspirations of becoming a pastry chef and studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Upon returning to America, she became a professional chef and began working in many Los Angeles restaurants including Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. Later, she worked as a food stylist and eventually was contracted by the Food Network after they saw a piece in Food & Wine Magazine.

Giada’s cooking show, Everyday Italian has been airing on the Food Network since 2003, and has been a hit from the day it aired. In 2006, Giada De Laurentiis hosted Behind the Bash which examined the catering process behind big events such as the Grammy Awards. Her third show on the Food Network aired in 2007 called Giada’s Weekend Getaways, Giada travels to a location and visits her favorite culinary destinations.

She has appeared as a presenter on Food Network Awards; guest judged the third season of The Next Food Network Star and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host. In 2010 Giada De Laurentiis and Target teamed up to create an exclusive line of kitchen supplies and she has been ranked #6 of Sexiest Moms Alive list from CafeMom and is also an author of 5 books. She is available for cooking demonstrations, hosting, and mommy blogger events.
