Sports Speaker and New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall was drafted as the 119th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Brandon is well-known for his uncanny ability to evade and shed off tacklers; he led the NFL wide receivers in yards after first contact in the 2007 NFL season.
Two years later, Brandon Marshall set an NFL record for receptions in a game with 21 and he is one of only five players in the NFL to have a least 100 caught passes in three consecutive seasons. In the 2010 season, Brandon was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a second round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and a second round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. On March 13, 2012 Brandon was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears for a 3rd round pick in the NFL Draft. Brandon’s three seasons with the Bears saw great individual success; he posted a career-high 1,508 receiving yards in his first season with the Bears. The following season, Brandon caught a career-high 12 touchdown receptions. In March of 2015, Brandon was traded to the New York Jets. In his three seasons with the Bears, Brandon accumulated 3,524 receiving yards, 31 touchdown receptions, and 279 total receptions.
