Celebrity chef speaker Rocco Dispirito has a passion for cooking which is evident in his restaurant, Union Pacific, as it received three stars from the New York Times but Rocco later left the restaurant in 2004. Rocco was named Food and Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs in 1999 and in 2000, was the first chef to be on the cover of Gourmet Magazine and was named America’s Most Exciting Young Chef. Rocco has also won the Flavor award from the James Beard Foundation.

Rocco is currently in the second year of his acclaimed Hamptons residency, Pop-Up by Rocco, which has opened to critical praise and strong demand, drawing both local and national attention for its coastal Italian menu and hospitality.

Rocco’s fifth cookbook, Rocco Gets Real was published in 2008 and in this same year, A&E launched, Rocco Gets Real! He also starred in the series, The Restaurant, which aired on NBC. He has also appeared on Top Chef, Tournament of Champions, The Biggest Loser, Guy’s Grocery Games, and the Rachael Ray Show. Rocco also hosted his own radio show for WOR. Most recently, he launched School of Rocco, a social media-driven cooking series that has amassed millions of views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, reaching new audiences worldwide.

Rocco also put on his dancing shoes for Dancing with the Stars in season seven and placed ninth overall. Rocco has a show that launched on Bravo in 2011 called Rocco’s Dinner Party, where chefs create meals to be judged by Rocco and his hand-picked guests. Rocco was also an endorser of American Express. In 2013, Rocco hosted the Food Network reality show Restaurant Divided, where he went to struggling restaurants where the owners had two differing visions. He then would pick which concept will save the restaurant. He is able to provide roles in culinary consulting, event planning and hosting.
