Troy Aikman

A published author and former Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, sports speaker Troy Aikman was the number one overall draft pick in the 1989 NFL Draft for the Dallas Cowboys. During his very successful career, he was a six-time Pro Bowl selection, led his team to three Super Bowl victories, and was named MVP of Super Bowl XXVII.  In 2006, sports speaker for hire Troy was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and in 2008 into the College Football Hall of Fame.

After his retirement in 2001, Troy Aikman joined FOX broadcasting serving on the network’s number 2 NFL broadcasting team. He quickly elevated his status at FOX and moved up to the network’s number 1 NFL broadcasting team the following season, earning the role as lead analyst. Here, Aikman teamed up with Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Joe Buck to form one of the most successful and recognizable broadcast teams in sports.

Outside of the booth,  Aikman is revered for his work with the once Troy Aikman Foundation and the now Troy Aikman Foundation Fund in the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. The fund, the first donor-advised fund for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, aims at supporting health, education, and financial stability in Northern Texas communities.

Sports speaker Troy Aikman has become an established entrepreneur in his post-playing career. He has diversified his brand and invested in real estate, merchandise sales, and the restaurant industry among other things. Under the close mentorship of Mark Griege and Roger Staubach, Aikman Enterprises fortified itself in the business landscape. Aikman and Staubach co-founded the once NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing team, Hall of Fame Racing. Aikman has also been hired to endorse numerous brands such as IDLife, a specialized nutrition company.
