Susan Wojcicki

Business keynote speaker for hire Susan Wojcicki is a true trailblazer for women in business. She is currently CEO of YouTube. Under her leadership, YouTube’s revenue has nearly doubled and users of the platform have increased exponentially. Prior to YouTube, Susan spent a number of years working for Google and was their 16th employee ever hired. Susan also worked for tech giant Intel and was a consultant for Bain & Company. In September 1998, the same month Google was incorporated, Google’s office was set up in Susan’s garage in Menlo Park. Susan was promoted to Google’s first marketing manager in 1999. Few people have been as instrumental in Google’s rise as Susan. She led many of the first viral marketing programs as well as the first Google Doodles. Susan also helped Google grow by leading the development of Google Images and Google Books.

Susan eventually became the senior vice president of advertising and commerce for Google. In this role, she led advertising and analytical efforts such as AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick and Google Analytics. Susan also led two of Google’s most instrumental acquisitions, which have provided billions in revenue since their acquisition. In 2006, Susan proposed and oversaw the $1.65 billion purchase of YouTube. At the time, the move was often ridiculed as YouTube was a small platform that was not widely known. Today, YouTube brings in tens of billions of dollars of revenue annually and has 1.8 billion unique users monthly. In 2007, Susan oversaw the $3.1 billion purchase of DoubleClick. DoubleClick is a brand of Google that develops and provides internet ad serving services. Since the acquisition of DoubleClick, it has brought Google billions of dollars across its properties.

Susan is also an accomplished keynote speaker who has spoken at many technology expositions and conventions such WIRED’s 25th anniversary and the SXSW 2018 conference in Austin. She speaks on topics including leadership, the future of tech, and addresses various global social issues.
