Olivia Newton John

Celebrity speaker Olivia Newton John is a four-time Grammy winning singer and actress, most famously known for her starring role in the 1978 classic Grease opposite John Travolta. The soundtrack, including tracks “Summer Nights” and “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” was one of the most successful soundtracks in Hollywood history, made her only the second female to land in the Billboard Top 5 with two songs at one time, and earned her a People’s Choice Award. The film also earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award.

After Grease Olivia Newton John transformed her image and went on to produce a number of successful albums. The soundtrack for the musical Xanadu in 1980 went double platinum, having five Top 20 singles. Her album Physical went double platinum; its title track spent the highest number of weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 list, matching Debby Boone’s record. After Physical was released, singer and actress Olivia Newton-John went on to release fifteen studio albums while remaining involved as an active health awareness advocate and humanitarian.

Long before conquering her own battle with breast cancer in 1992, Newton-John served as a health awareness advocate and humanitarian making guest appearances at numerous charities. Throughout her career she has cancelled a Japanese tour to protest cruelty toward dolphins, performed in the Music for UNICEF Concert, been appointed a Goodwill Ambassador to the UN Environment Program, and become the national spokesperson for the Colette Chuda Environmental Fund making guest appearances to promote finding a cure for cancer.

These days singer and actress Olivia Newton-John continues to tour for various charitable causes and is the president of the Isle of Man Basking Shark society. Olivia Newton-John is available for speaking arrangements, charity involvement, and guest appearances.
