Nicole Richie

Comedic socialite and star of The Simple Life, Nicole Richie, is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie and his then wife Brenda Harvey. Nicole’s former best friend and fellow cast member on The Simple Life was Paris Hilton.

Growing up in the spotlight wasn’t easy, especially when her famous father was going through a much publicized affair. After graduating from Montclair College Preparatory School in 1999 she went on to study art and media for two years at the University of Arizona.

Nicole Richie is now married to Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden and have two beautiful children together. She has appeared in Kids in Americaand made guest appearances in TV series including, Eve, Six Feet Under, American Dreams, 8 Simple Rules and Chuck.

Author of The Truth About Diamonds, is a novel based on her life, but is mostly fictional and released a second novel, Priceless in 2010. As the face of Bongo Jeans and Jimmy Choo ad campaigns, she announced in 2007 that she was coming out with jewellery, accessories, sunglass, and perfume line and a style book. Her debut jewellery line, House of Harlow was available at Kitson’s online boutique and in 2010 she extended her line to include clothing and shoes. She also joined maternity store, A Pea in the Pod to create a new collection of maternity wear. Next, Nicole Richie expanded her business by offering a women’s line called Winter Kate featuring bright prints and shapes, paisley’s and florals. She is the recipient of “Entrepreneur of the Year” for House of Harlow 1960 brand from the Glamour Women of the Year Awards and was nominated for the “Celebrity Fashion Line” at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. Nicole’s next adventure was a handbag collection which are available at Bergdort Goodman’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Shopbop.com. Richie has starred as one of the three mentors on NBC’s Fashion Star and currently stars in her reality show, Candidly Nicole. Nicole Richie is available for speaking engagements, corporate appearances, and hosting.
