Olympic Speaker Michael Johnson’s eleven year career, he has had a record of thirteen Olympic and World Championship medals, all of which were gold. Michael has represented the United States in the Olympic Games in Barcelona winning the gold in the 4×400 meter relay, Atlanta winning gold at 200 meters and 400 meters, Sydney winning gold in 400 meters.
During his successful career, Michael Johnson broke world records in the 200 meters, 400 meters and 4×400 meter relay. In 1996 he became the Fastest Man in the World after competing in the 200/400 at the Olympics, where he clocked the fastest time ever clocked by a human.
Michael Johnson ended his career in 2001 and then started Michael Johnson Performance, which helps train other athletes reach their full potential by using his same training philosophy and training techniques. As of November 2010, Michael holds thirteen of the top one-hundred times for the 200 meters, twenty-seven of the top one-hundred times for the 400 meters and fourteen of the top twenty-five times for the 400 meters. Michael is president and founder of the Michael Johnson Performance, which helps athletes achieve their goals through their training programs. Since his retirement, he has also been working as an Olympic speaker.
Michael was also an endorser of Coors and has been seen as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, placing tenth. Michael has worked as a television commentator, for the BBC in the United Kingdom, where he also writes a column for the Daily Telegraph. Michael is available for sporting events, public appearances and corporate hospitality.
