Matt Damon

Matt Damon started his acting career in 1988 when he had a ‘one liner’ in the comedy, Mystic Pizza. His first big role came in Geronimo: An American Legend alongside Gene Hackman and Jason Patric in 1992.

Working with friend Ben Affleck, the pair wrote a script about a young math genius which later was turned into Good Will Hunting. It received nine Academy Award nominations and gave Matt and Ben an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Matt Damon was nominated for Best Supporting Actor to co-star Robin Williams. In 1999, director Steven Spielberg casted Matt in Saving Private Ryan, after meeting him on the set of Good Will Hunting.

Matt has appeared in many notable films including, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Dogma, Stuck on You, Gerry, All the Pretty Horses, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Thirteen, The Brothers Grimm, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum just to name a few. In 2014, he starred in George Clooney’s The Monuments Men, alongside George Clooney and Bill Murray. Matt’s most recent debut will be in the film Downsizing, which is set to release in 2017, and stars some big time names like Alec Baldwin, Reese Witherspoon, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Sudeikis just to name a few.

With fellow actor and friend Ben Affleck, and producers Chris Moore and Sean Bailey, founded production company LivePlanet and created the series Project Greenlight. Project Greenlight was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program in 2002, 2004, and 2005. Matt Damon is widely known for his philanthropy and give much time and money to the H2O Africa Foundation, Running the Sahara, WaterPartners, Not On Our Watch, ONE Campaign, AIDS, OneXOne, Feeding America, Ad Council, and Tonic Mailstopper. Matt Damon is available for speaking engagements, corporate events, and personal appearances.
