Katharine McPhee

Reality TV Speaker, singer, songwriter, actress, model and TV personality Katharine McPhee, gained fame as a contestant on the fifth season of the Fox reality show, American Idol where she finished runner-up. She debuted her self-titled album in 2007 at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and her second album was released in 2010.

She announced in February 2011  that she would be starring in a role in the NBC TV pilot Smash alongside Debra Messing, Megan Hilty, Anjelica Houston, Christian Borle and Brian d’Arcy James. It debuted on February 6 to favorable reviews, scoring a 79 out of 100 on Metacritic. She now stars as the lead in the new CBS drama, Scorpion.
