As the Creative Director at Hillman Curtis for four years, he decided to pack up and move West to partner with Mekanism in San Francisco. Here, Ian Kovalik directed the re-launch of Napster as it went from free to a paid subscription service. His campaign went viral which won him two Gold Lions at Cannes.
Ian Kovalik and Mekanism evolved and went on to develop branded entertainment, national spots, viral content and social media for companies like Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Microsoft, Lexus, Nike, EA, Dodge, Charles Schwab and DKNY. In 2011, the business speaker was named one of AdAge’s Top Ten Agencies to Watch. Ian is available for speaking engagements and corporate events.
