Former NFL player Emmitt Smith played college at the University of Florida where he was named All-American and played professionally for the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals. He was NFL’s all-time rushing leader, breaking the record of Walter Payton, and played in three Super Bowl winning Dallas Cowboys teams. Emmitt Smith is the only running back to ever win a Super Bowl, the NFL MVP, the NFL rushing crown, and the Super Bowl MVP all in the same season.

He signed a one day contract for no money with the Dallas Cowboys and immediately retired as a Cowboy, the team he played for from 1990-2002. In 2005, he signed to serve as a studio analyst on the NFL Network show, NFL Total Access. He was the winner of the third season of Dancing with the Stars and was said to have “natural charm” and returned to the hit-show in 2012 for its All-Star season.
