Brad has compiled a successful music career with twenty one number one hits from a total of ten studio albums, and he has created his own style of fun-loving country storytelling.
Since 1999 Brad has been topping Billboard country music charts with No. 1 hits including his first, titled He Didn’t Have to Be, off of his debut album called Who Needs Pictures. Paisley was the youngest member ever to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and throughout his career, has amassed numerous awards. Brad’s three Grammy awards, coupled with his fifteen Country Music Association awards and fourteen Academy of Country Music awards put him in a category with some of the greatest country legends of all time. His musical style is meant to be emulated through the foot-pedal that was created by Wampler Pedals called the Paisley Drive, which was made available to the public in 2010. Brad is currently married to actress Kimberly Williams who is known for her roles in the film Father of the Bride, and television series According to Jim and Nashville.
Celebrity Speaker Brad Paisley published his autobiography in 2011 entitled Diary of a Player: How My Musical Heroes Made a Guitar Man Out of Me. The book discusses his rise through the music industry as well as the things that lead him to pursue a career in music. He has been awarded the Country Radio Broadcaster’s Artist Humanitarian Award for his philanthropy work outside of music. He currently hosts the Brad Paisley Celebrity Invitational Fishing Tournament that helps to raise funds for the St. Jude Children’s research hospital. The Brad Paisley Foundation helps support multiple charities specifically The Children’s Miracle Network, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and The Soup Kitchen of Wheeling among others.
