Bobbi Brown

Celebrity Speaker Bobbi Brown is a professional makeup artist and businesswomen. She was the founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and is now the former chief creative officer for the company. In addition to her makeup line, Bobbi has also released a collection of fragrances, and most recently in 2019 she announced that she will have a new wellness line.

Bobbi always loved doing makeup as she grew up, when she went to Emerson College she got a degree in theatrical makeup. After she got her degree, Brown moved to New York City to pursue a career as a professional makeup artist. She was able to work with multiple different models and photographers to help get herself out there, and eventually came to realize that the products she was seeing in the industry just weren’t natural enough. This is when she set out to create a new beauty line, and she was able to find a chemist at a photoshoot who worked with her to create a new and better lipstick. After the chemist and Brown worked together, they came up with a line of 10 lipsticks, which started her brand Bobbi Brown Essentials.

Celebrity Speaker Bobbi Brown started gaining more and more attention after Bobbi Brown Essentials took off. The brand grew to be a lot more than just lipstick, and with the new makeup products that Bobbi Brown Essentials came out with, Estee Lauder caught wind of the new brand, and bought Bobbi Brown Essentials in 1995.

As the company continued (and still continues) to grow, Bobbi landed herself a job with The Today Show as a beauty consultant, and also has done segments on the show about beauty and her makeup line. As her makeup line continues to expand, the professional artist also recently released a collection of fragrances, and will soon be releasing her own wellness line soon. In addition to her beauty line, Brown has also released a number of books to help readers and customers make the most of her products. She has won several awards for her work, and has been featured on the covers of many popular magazines such as Elle, and Vogue.
