Steve Wozniak

Technology speaker for hire Steve Wozniak formerly known as “The Woz” is an iconic IT developer, philanthropist, and author. Wozniak got his start in 1976 founding Apple Inc. with Steve Jobs. He personally developed the “Apple I” and “Apple II” computers which jump started both Apple Inc. and the personal computer industry. In 1985 Steve was awarded the National Medal of Technology by the President of the United States and in 2000 he was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame.

After leaving Apple in 1985, Steve started his philanthropic mission. Mainly focused on enhancing computer capabilities in schools and promoting creativity for students, he took the Los Gatos School District of California under his wing providing state of the art equipment as well as donations. Steve is also an accomplished investor. He most recently invested in the company Ripcord, the world’s first robotic digitalization company. In addition to this personal investment, Steve works serves in advisory roles for companies like Planet Capital, yap.TV, and IOActive.
