Celebrity Speaker Betty White has spent a lifetime bringing others joy and laughter through her award-winning roles in films and popular TV series.

Betty  is an actress, comedian, television personality, and author who has been in the entertainment business for 7 decades. Talk about longevity! She is most famously known for her earlier roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, but Betty White has accomplished something that very few (if any) before her time have: She is still a popular actress on both television and film screen after seven decades. She has been nominated for 20 Emmy awards, winning six for acting, along with countless other awards including a Grammy, Screen Actors Guild, Teen Choice Award, TV Land, and an American Comedy Award. She is also the oldest person to have hosted Saturday Night Live, earning her yet another Primetime Emmy Award in 2011. Her latest project, Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, premiered in 2012 and concluded in 2014. Betty now currently hosts her own show, Betty White’s Smartest Animals in America. She also won the 2015 People’s Choice Award for TV Icon.

Outside of acting, Celebrity Speaker Betty White is an active animal health advocate, supporting organizations like the Los Angeles Zoo, and serving as a trustee and president of the Morris Animal Foundation. In addition, White has written over six books between 1983 and 2011. In her most recent book, Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo, she discusses her passion for animal advocacy and adventures working with the zoo over the past few decades. Betty White’s charismatic personality and “no shame” humor can be traced all the way back to the early 1940s when she worked as a radio show host during WWII.
