The natural and organic products industry has seen a boom in productivity and popularity over the past few years. Known as the world’s largest trade show for the natural, organic, and healthy products industry, the 34^th annual Natural Products Expo West event is set to attract its largest ever attendance numbers this year with over 60,000 guests and exhibitors. The show is a 4-time Gold Award Winner by Trade Show Magazine which recognizes tradeshows that “set the gold standard” for the industry each year. The event will be held from March 6-9, 2014 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California; attendees can expect to see new products from the likes of brands such as Horizon Organic, Applegate Farms, Earth Balance and Madhava among many other well-known and up and coming brands.

Aside from getting to sample all the healthy new food, beauty products, and health supplements, consumers can expect to see some company booths complete with a celebrity spokesperson. Last year’s show brought multiple celebrity spokespeople answering questions, taking photos and signing autographs while endorsing their new products. Elisabeth Hasselbeck who has won an Emmy Award for her co-host spot on The View before becoming the female co-host on the news talk show Fox and Friends, was at the show to promote her latest all-natural, gluten-free products from her family friendly nutrition brand NoGii. The host of CBS network’s The Amazing Race and Discovery Channel’s No opportunity Wasted Phil Keoghan was at the show to promote his new No Opportunity Wasted all-natural trail bars and first aid Road Rash topical ointment. Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson helped teach attendees how to train like a celebrity with his 14 to Lean product line including dietary supplement formulas, and a 14-day program of intakes and exercise routines. It will be interesting to see who might make a celebrity appearance for brands wishing to utilize the power of a celebrity spokesperson at the 2014 expo.

This year’s show will feature celebrity speakers including integrative medicine pioneer Andrew Weil, M.D. and award-winning writer and activist Raj Patel. Dr. Weil partnered with MegaFood natural supplements to create education-based programs and products for consumers and will share his insight on the natural product industry while Mr. Patel will share his thoughts on future food sustainability. Among the show’s workshops Celebrity Chef and speaker Chad Sarno will deliver the keynote address at the Specialty Diets Workshop focused on gluten-free, vegan and allergen-free lifestyles. The Marketing to Moms Workshop will once again welcome natural living expert and TV host Sara Snow as its keynote speaker. These names are just a few of the important speakers that will be sharing their knowledge with the public over the course of the 4-day trade show.
