Morgan Freeman’s first claim to fame came on the soap opera Another World and PBS kids’ show The Electric Company. Morgan began playing major roles in many feature films including Driving Miss Daisy, Glory, The Shawshank Redemption, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Unforgiven, Seven and Deep Impact.
In 1997, Morgan and Lori McCreary founded Revelations Entertainment Production Company and together ‘co-head’ film distribution company ClickStar. With three previous Academy Award nominations, he finally won Best Supporting Actor for Million Dollar Baby. Morgan Freeman is widely known for his voice over narrations which include War of the Worlds and March of the Penguins. He also lends his voice to the CBS Evening News introduction.

Morgan Freeman has formed the Grenada Relief Fund to help aid people affected by Hurricane Ivan and has since been renamed PLANIT NOW, which helps to provide resources for people living in hurricane and severe-storm afflicted areas. He has worked with organizations such as, One Earth and Mississippi Horse Park.
