Sunny Anderson

Celebrity Chef Sunny Anderson worked as a radio personality at KCJZ and KONO-FM in San Antonio before settling in New York City in 2001. From 2003-2005, she was the owner of Sunny’s Delicious Dishes, a catering company based in Jersey City, New Jersey. First appearing on the Food Network in 2005,Her first show, Gotta Get It, a food gadget show, premiered in 2007, followed by Cooking for Real, How’d That Get On My Plate, which follows a journey of a single ingredient as it moves from its raw state to finished product. From the farm to the plate, Sunny Anderson shows through technology and innovation, how we get our favorite foods to our plate.

Currently, Chef Anderson is the newest addition to the Food Network’s In The Kitchen weekend block with her series, Cooking For Real. Sunny Anderson is known for her classic comfort food while combining unique flavors stimulated by her love of traveling and also incorporating her understanding of easy to find ingredients on a low budget.

She also serves as Food & Lifestyle editor at Hip Hop Weekly Magazine where Sunny interviews hip hop stars in her Belly of the Beats column, about food, clothing, and the restaurants they love.n September 2013, she released her New York Times best-selling debut cookbook, Sunny’s Kitchen: Easy Food for Real Life. Sunny Anderson is available for cooking demonstrations, endorsements, and hosting.
