After graduation, Sports Speaker Gabrielle Reece played professional volleyball for many years. As a team captain in a four person Women’s Beach Volleyball League, they took first place in the first ever Beach Volleyball World Championship. She led the league in kills from 1993-1996 and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 1994-1995. In 1999, she competed in the Olympic Challenge Series and the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
While attending Florida State University, she began modeling and was named by Elle as one of the five most beautiful women in the world. In 1997, she married famous big-wave surfer Laird Hamilton and the couple has two children together. Gabrielle Reece has also hosted ESPN and NBC’s Gravity Games, and was a commentator at the 1998 Goodwill Games. She has been a spokeswoman for Nike and is a new expert and writer for Yahoo-Health. In 2013, she released her book, My Foot is Too Big for the Glass Slipper. Gabrielle Reece is available for sporting events, sports clinics, and endorsements.
