Christian Arno

Social Media Speaker Christian Arno is the founder and Managing Director of UK translation company, Lingo24. As a 22 year old graduate of Oxford University, he established Lingo24 in 2001. In 2003, he was the winner of the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and was a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category at the 2009 National Business Awards for Scotland.

He has been enlisted by Brand Republic to give advice for businesses seeking to globalize and has been recognized as a business commentator. Christian Arno has been contracted to work for Smarta, an online support platform for business owners and entrepreneurs supported by Deborah Meaden from Dragons’ Den, to provide advice to entrepreneurs looking to grow their own businesses.

Christian has been on a panel of experts for the Guardian newspaper’s live question and answer session: what can I do with a degree in languages? In 2010, he was asked to provide regular columns for top online publications including Econsultancy, Search Engine Journal, Search Engine Watch and Brand Republic. In 2013, Christian was selected as a fellow for the British-American Project. Within the two nations, there are only 1,000 members of the fellowship. The project seeks to strengthen and solidify the relationship between the countries. He is available for speaking engagements, corporate events and corporate videos.
