Dr. Phil McGraw

Once Dr. Phil obtained his Ph.D., he joined his father, Dr. Joe McGraw at his very successful psychology practice. In 1983, Health Speaker Dr. Phil and Dr. Joe joined a successful Texas businesswoman; Thelma Box, to present “Pathway” seminars. These seminars were used to teach “individuals to achieve their own results.”

In 1995, Oprah Winfrey hired Dr. Phil’s legal consulting firm CSI to help prepare her for the Amarillo Texas beef trial. After her win in the case, she was so impressed with him that she invited him to appear on her show. His appearance was so successful that he began appearing weekly as the ”Relationship and Life Strategy Expert” starting in 1998. Four years later, he founded Peteski Productions and launched his own daily TV show, Dr. Phil  and was produced by Harpo Studios. Dr. Phil is also the author of seven #1 New York Times bestsellers.

Dr. Phil formed the Dr. Phil Foundation in 2003 to help fight childhood obesity. Dr. Phil lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Robin, they have two kids and two grandkids. He is available for endorsements, speaking engagements and public service announcements.
