Bret Baier, the highly acclaimed journalist, is the Chief political anchor for FOX News and host of the #1 cable news program in America. As one of the most prominent journalists in America today, Baier’s irreverent approach to reporting entices audiences into tuning in to hear the biggest stories happening around the world.
He was hired as the Chief White House Correspondent for the network in 2006 and took over the anchor position of Fox News program Special Report from Brit Hume in 2008. Most Recently, Baier published the book “Three Days at the Brink” which tells the unknown history of World Ward II. He published another 2 books before it including “Three Days in January” and “Three Days in Moscow” earning New York Times bestsellers for each.
Beyond being a successful journalist, Baier is a husband and father. His other New York Times bestseller titled “Special Heart: A Journey of Faith, Hope, Courage and Love” chronicling his young son Paul Baier’s brave journey through the seemingly endless maze of medical procedures and operations required to sustain his life since being born in 2007 with five congenital heart defects. He revealed how it has changed and shaped the way he looks at work and life. By donating all of his speaking fees and proceeds from his book to various non-profit organizations involved in pediatric heart disease research and treatment, Baier hopes to help other people in need to receive better medical care.
In April of 2016, Bret was hired as the motivational keynote speaker for the University of Mobile’s 11th Annual Leadership Banquet, and as speaker of spring breaker series in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
