Business Speaker Suzy Welch is a New York Times bestselling author, TV personality and keynote speaker who created her own method for critically thinking about your life and career to find the path to success. She calls it the 10-10-10 rule. In 2009, she published her NY Times bestseller, 10-10-10: A Fast and Powerful Way to Get Unstuck in Love, at Work, and with Your Family, laying out the thinking behind her new method for success in business and in life.
The 10-10-10 method centers around the idea that your life decisions are best assessed through the next 10 days, 10 months and 10 years. What are the aftereffects of a decision you will make today in 10 days? In 10 months? In 10 years? This systematic approach to decision making helps you keep your life and career in the right perspective. Before publishing her own self-help book, Suzy collaborated with husband Jack Welch to write three bestselling books titled Winning, Winning: The Answers, and most recently The Real Life MBA: Your No-BS Guide to Winning the Game, Building a Team and Growing Your Career in 2015.
Before becoming a successful keynote speaker, Business Speaker Suzy Welch worked as a journalist for the Miami Herald and the Associated Press. She soon obtained her MBA and worked for management consulting firm Bain & Company before being named editor-in-chief of the Harvard Business Review. She has written many pieces covering topics surrounding the work-life balance for publications such as The Wall Street Journal and O, The Oprah Winfrey Magazine. In 2015, she was chosen as the moderator between husband Jack and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk during their featured Q&A session at SXSW.
