In 1991 he and four friends joined a French adventure competition and he would then later on use this idea to start the world famous show Survivor which premiered during the summer of 2000. Mark has a very long list of producing accomplishment which include starting shows such as The Apprentice, Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader?, Shark Tank, The Voice, and many more. Mark and Shark Tank won the 2015 Best Reality Series award at the Critics Choice Television Awards. He has also been hired to produce award shows like MTV Awards, People’s Choice awards, and even the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. He has produced over 2,400 hours of television that air in more than 70 countries today. He has worked with stars such as Usher, Adam Levine, Samuel L. Jackson, and Oprah Winfrey.

Time Magazine named Mark one the Most Influential People in the world today. He has also won awards like Philanthropist of the year. Besides his many productions Mark is also an eight time author. He is a 5 time Emmy award winner while his shows have registered an amazing 98 nominations.
