Natalie Portman

Actress and celebrity speaker Natalie Portman made her first film role as an orphan in the French action film Leon, but her first major success came when she was cast as Padme Adidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

While still acting, Natalie attended Harvard University where she studies psychology. In 2001, she opened in New York City’s Public Theater production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull. Four years later Natalie Portman received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress-Motion Picture for the drama, Closer. She made her directorial debut in 2008 by opening of the 65^th Venice International Film Festival with Eve. Her more recent role as Nina Sayers in Black Swan, won her an Academy Award, Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the BAFTA Award.
