Standup comedian, TV host, actress and Celebrity speaker Ellen DeGeneres is the host of the popular daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and was also a judge on American Idol for one season. Ellen has hosted the Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards, has starred in Mr. Wrong, Edtv, The Love Letter and Finding Nemo.

From 1994-1998 she hosted the successful Ellen on ABC and was often referred to as the female Seinfeld. When Ellen reached its peak popularity, Ellen appeared on Oprah and announced her homosexuality. After the show, she returned to her new TV series on CBS, The Ellen Show in 2001 and then onto her daytime TV talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2003. The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed through 2017, extending the show through its 14th season. March 2, 2014 during the broadcast of the 86th Academy Awards, that Ellen was hosting, she orchestrated a selfie with fellow celebrities and it became the most retweeted image ever, beating the previous record held by Barack Obama following his victory in the 2012 election. Most recently, Ellen is the executive producer of her show on HGTV called Ellen’s Design Challenge, the show was just renewed for a second season in 2016.

Celebrity Speaker Ellen DeGeneres has appeared in American Express commercials and in 2007 won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial. She has also been the face of Cover Girl Cosmetics since 2008. In 2010, Ellen started her own record company, eleveneleven. Signers signed to the label include Greyson Chance, Tom Andrews and Jessica Simpson. Ellen is an avid vegan and big-time animal lover, and was named Woman of the Year by PETA in 2009. In 2008, Ellen married model Portia de Rossi in their home in Beverly Hills. Ellen DeGeneres is involved with numerous charities and is available for speaking engagements, public events, and endorsements.
